The Global Textiles Policy Forum seeks to address the need for global policy coordination by providing a platform for governments and textile industry associations from around the world. This closed-door, executive-level roundtable meeting will gather the forum participants one year after its the launch, following the first meetings of the different workstreams.

Leveraging insights from the BESTSELLER Switch to Upstream Circularity pilot in Bangladesh, this closed-door, executive-level roundtable meeting will unlock potential solutions, such as design team engagement, segregation of waste feedstock and beyond.

Significant opportunities for accelerating and scaling recycling of post-industrial textile waste exist in multiple countries worldwide. This closed-door, executive-level working meeting will convene SteerCo members of The Global Circular Fashion Forum (GCFF):a global initiative by Global Fashion Agenda to spur local action in textile manufacturing countries in an an effort to achieve a long-term and just transition to a circular fashion industry.

Scaling Circular Textiles Systems in Cambodia & Vietnam

Pilot-status results have yielded important insights on opportunities to scale circular textile systems in Cambodia and Vietnam. This closed-door, executive-level roundtable meeting will explore how to turn learnings so far into scalable national plans for Circular Fashion Partnerships, which specifically tailors a tested model to the nuances of the Cambodian & Vietnamese markets. Furthermore, the meeting will discuss the regional roles of these countries in a global circular fashion value chain.
