Summit 2026 Theme
The 2026 theme for Global Fashion Summit, ‘Building Resilient Futures’, recognises this moment as both a reckoning and a renewal. It challenges the community to carefully consider where they will fall on the resilience spectrum: rigid and resistant to change or agile and actively adapting to it.
Building Resilient Futures
The sustainability movement in fashion has faced extraordinary challenges. Supply chains have been disrupted, green ambitions questioned, and cultural narratives reshaped. The industry’s collective capacity to withstand and adapt has been profoundly tested. The 2026 theme for Global Fashion Summit, ‘Building Resilient Futures’, recognises this moment as both a reckoning and a renewal. It challenges the community to carefully consider where they will fall on the resilience spectrum: rigid and resistant to change or agile and actively adapting to it.
Against this complex and volatile backdrop, something powerful has emerged: a reinforced determination to build a reimagined future. Across the industry, the foundations for a net positive future are continuously taking shape through global circularity networks, material innovation, policy frameworks, new financing mechanisms, and data driven accountability. These can be building blocks of a more resilient future.
True resilience demands evolution. It invites us to consider how fashion can regenerate itself in response to crisis, how business models can be redesigned to sustain people and planet in the long term, and how creativity can continue to thrive under constraint, not despite it. At Global Fashion Summit 2026, Global Fashion Agenda will explore these questions through the lens of resilience itself, connecting the theme to the tangible frameworks of the Fashion CEO Agenda’s five priorities:
- Respectful and Secure Work Environments
- Better Wage Systems
- Resource Stewardship
- Smart Material Choices
- Circular Systems
